Safely Packaging and Shipping my Photo Art Prints
II take great care when packaging and shipping my delicate photo art prints to ensure they arrive safely. Protecting fragile artwork, especially prints, is crucial to preventing damage during transit.
First, I lay the photo art on a clean, flat surface and handle it carefully to avoid smudges, scratches, or damage. Then, I smooth out the art print, making it as flat as possible before packing.
Next, I wrap the artwork in parchment paper to shield it from direct contact with other materials and protect it from dust, dirt, and fingerprints during shipping.
After wrapping, I gently roll the parchment-covered photo art into a tube to prevent folds or creases and provide a secure form for transportation.
I then place the parchment-covered photo art into a sturdy paper-carrying tube designed to ship delicate items such as posters, photo prints, and documents. This tube offers robust protection from physical impacts, moisture, and environmental factors.
Finally, at the post office, I add an extra layer of security by wrapping the carrying tube in plastic film to protect it and its contents from moisture, dirt, and accidental exposure to elements during transit.
